Kirtar Oza, CISA, CISSP, is an ardent cyber security professional with a strong background in Cyber Security. With more than nine years of experience in various areas like Cloud and Infrastructure Security Management, Threat and Incident Management, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration testing, IT Governance and Risk Management, he has been involved in assessment and development of security strategy and road-maps for several organizations. He has also been quoted frequently in Times of India (TOI) on Cybercrime-related stories. His area of interest is to research on the cybercrime eco-system and develop actionable and predictive intelligence to protect critical infrastructure. He has been voluntarily (when time permits) supporting cyber-crime stories across the geographies. Currently working with Infosys, Pune, he has achieved his MSc in Computer Networks from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Australia.

The term “Information Security”, once deliberately used by sagacious people of Information Security community to emphasis on the enterprise-wide scope (“it is not only about IT”) of the term, is getting faded away and the new term “Cyber Security” is replacing its predecessor.
