Learning Experience
With the growing digital landscape, ensuring online safety for young students has become a critical necessity. As a pioneer in cyber security and data protection, Data Security Council of India (DSCI) launched Cyber for YOUth to equip students with essential cyber-awareness, enabling them to navigate the internet securely and responsibly. Designed for grades 6th to 12th, this initiative addresses the rising cyber risks faced by young users, fostering a culture of digital resilience from an early age. Through engaging, real-world simulations and interactive sessions, it addresses pressing cyber risks such as phishing, social engineering, and cyberbullying, while promoting essential practices like password security, data privacy, and responsible social media usage.
The Program impact does not end in the classroom it extends far beyond. By transforming students into cyber ambassadors, the program enables them to educate their parents, siblings, and peers, reaching vulnerable individuals who may otherwise remain unaware of the growing risks in the digital world.
Educate students on critical digital safety topics, including cyber threats, privacy protection, and responsible online behaviour.
Equip students with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to cyber risks such as cyberbullying, phishing, online scams, and social engineering tactics
Instil safe digital habits such as password security, secure browsing, and privacy settings.
Train teachers and administrators to identify cyber threats and foster a cyber-safe learning environment.

It was an excellent program. I personally found the sessions valuable, as they provided numerous insights and actionable pointers on cyber awareness.
I enjoyed learning about cyber safety. The sessions were fun and helped me understand about cyber bullying , cyber Hygiene.
I found the sessions interesting. I learned how to use social media in a safe way and avoid talking to strangers online.
I really enjoyed the cyber security session. I now know how to make strong passwords and be careful on the internet and while doing online shopping too.
I got to learn a lot of new things about cyber security and how to use social media safely. I even won the prize for best poster.
In past three days we learned about cyber security and how to overcome cyber threats when faced.
These sessions taught me many new things about cyber threats and how to handle them and also provided a helpline number . It was a good experience.
