DSCI is hosting the 16th edition of its Best Practices Meet (BPM 2024) in Bengaluru on August 28, 2024. DSCI Best Practices Meet (BPM) focuses on the contemporary evolution of security by organising its content and deliberations under a dominant theme. Taking forward the sub summit approach, BPM 2024 shall entail multiple sub-summits that will bring out the specific concerns, considerations & imperatives for critical tracks such as Cyber GCCs, Quantum, Aerospace Security & Digital Finance Security. The conference shall afford the opportunity to immerse oneself in stimulating conversations, innovative ideas, dynamic partnerships, fireside chats, and in-depth exchanges, while reinforcing the importance of cybersecurity to the core of every business.
The emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, NLP, hardware and semiconductors, wireless networking, cloud computing, robotics, blockchain, AR/VR, and location are fuelling the technology transformation. Technology is now consumed on platforms in more commoditized ways. Architectures are now evolving to respond to events, autonomous from human interventions. Computing is now going in the age of self-generating, intent-driven, where efforts of developing applications would be either minimal or nil.
This year's version of the Meet will focus on advances in Security Engineering and opportunities thereof. Cyber security is becoming more nuanced, with numerous disciplines and areas of focus. Each of them is undergoing rapid evolution, revealing new challenges and opportunities. The conference shall endeavour to explore the architectural patterns and design concepts being utilized to advance security engineering efforts and the approaches to execute responsible innovation.
