Event OverviewDSCI Financial Security Conclave 2019

The second edition of the FINSEC Conclave is all set to be hosted on April 25 & 26, 2019 at Mumbai. Picking up from last year, FINSEC 2019 would endeavour to bring a more nuanced and granular discussion around the Digitization phenomenon that is driving the strategies and priorities of the BFSI sector of the country. The BFSI sector has been gearing itself up digitally for the past few years. Intuitive products, platform agnostic solutions and a holistic sophistication across devices is enabling the organizations to create unique experiences for its customers.

We, as a society, are moving towards a more open, platformised ecosystem wherein innovators, capability providers and end customers are getting integrated and enmeshed with each other in a very complex way and leveraging strengths and competencies in a sophisticated and seamless fashion. FINSEC would take a closer look at this transaction based ecosystem which has now become a giant engine with multiple cogs in it.

FINSEC would take a closer look at this transaction based ecosystem which has now become a giant engine with multiple cogs in it.

Technology adoption has been driving operational excellence and the nature of experience, an end consumer is able to get in a multi-channel and multi-mode milieu. The summit, by virtue of its experience sharing and compelling storytelling track, would rope in the trend setters from across the globe, who would be engaging with the delegates and talking about the future roadmap for the financial services sector.

In terms of upcoming Security & Privacy challenges that organizations and their leadership have been grappling with, FINSEC would entail discussions around modern security designs and architecture, cognitive innovations and digital connectivity, security trends in evolving threat landscape, security leadership and skill demand, etc. A critical component would be frauds and cybercrimes that present a potent challenge to the BFSI sector. Since the country is gearing up for its Data Protection regime, it becomes imperative for organizations to hone their privacy function and program and FINSEC 2019 would be adequately addressing this ask by having discussions from preparation standpoint.

The two-day agenda of FINSEC 2019 would be offering fascinating sessions in various forms and modes, including, but not limited to, master classes, fireside chats, digital modelling sessions, keynotes, focussed meet-ups and track sessions, that would, among other key areas, cover Digitization of Finance, Security Operations, Fraud Prevention, Data Protection, Open/API drive, Digital Risks, Breach Response et al. The summit shall host 70+ speakers, 400+ participants encompassing 25+ sessions.
