Karnataka is where the Cyber for YOUth journey began. As India's technology heartland — home to Bengaluru's world-renowned innovation ecosystem — the state was a natural starting point for a programme built on the belief that cybersecurity awareness must grow alongside digital opportunity. Karnataka has long been ahead of the curve; the state government has actively championed digital literacy and online safety through its own initiatives, recognising early on that a thriving tech economy must be matched by an equally strong culture of cyber responsibility among its citizens, especially its youth. Cyber for YOUth builds on this strong foundation — extending the state's vision deeper into schools and communities, equipping young minds with the awareness to identify threats like social engineering, cyberbullying, and online exploitation before they become victims. In Karnataka, DSCI did not arrive to fill a gap — it arrived to amplify an already committed effort, partnering with a state that had already chosen to lead.
