in alignment with national priorities and the sustainable development goals (sdgs), madhya pradesh has prioritized vocational training, digital literacy, and skill-based learning—making it an ideal ground to introduce structured cybersecurity education at the school level. preliminary research before the program’s rollout revealed a growing need for digital safety awareness among students, particularly around cyberbullying, online gaming risks, and a general lack of understanding of safe online practices. this reinforced the importance of empowering young learners with cyber hygiene, privacy knowledge, and awareness of emerging digital threats—right at the foundation of their digital journey.
