We are delighted to present our Annual Report for the fiscal year 2024-25. This report provides a concise overview of the significant advancements and key initiatives undertaken by DSCI. Throughout the year, we had the opportunity to launch a variety of programs and initiatives, with a primary focus on strengthening cybersecurity readiness and capabilities among our important stakeholders.

In 2024, DSCI made significant strides globally through its Global Trade Development initiative, positioning India as a promising cybersecurity hub, by engaging with embassies, high commissions, and trade agencies. The launch of the first Indo-US Cyber Security Industry Exchange connected Indian and American leaders across multiple cities from West to East coast. We also strengthened our presence in the Middle East at platforms like GISEC Dubai and Black Hat MEA, uniting the Indian diaspora and regional cyber communities.

This year, our commitment to inclusive digital empowerment was further reflected in our CSR for Cyber initiatives, supported by industry partners, which focused on cyber awareness and capacity building for the aspiring young professional instudents from tier II & tier III regions through programs such as CyberShikshaa, Cyber for YOUth, Cyber Vaahini and Cyber Sainik.

We are proud to announce that CyberShikshaa was recognized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a global case study for building strategic cyber security talent framework, and our CCITR program was also featured by WEF for its role in strengthening cybercrime investigation capacity among Indian law enforcement.

DSCI produced a series of crucial publications this year, the most notable one being the India Cyber Threat Report 2024, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the current cybersecurity threat landscape, specifically tailored to the nuances of the Indian context.

DSCI continued to scale its capacity-building efforts with new flagship programs like the DSCI Certified Strategist Program (DCSP), AI Governance Program (DCAGP), and Quantum Technology & Security Program (DCQTSP). These initiatives address emerging skill needs and reinforce DSCI’s leadership in professional training and certification. DSCI also maintained continuous engagement with members, actively participating in ongoing policy developments and leadership sessions, thereby expanding influence within the industry across sectors like BFSI, Oil & Energy, Healthcare, IT, GCC, Manufacturing, and other sectors and reaching new geographic regions.

In early 2025, DSCI launched the first DSCI Data Protection Summit (DDPS), featuring expert-led sessions that helped organizations navigate the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and turn compliance into trust. Held at a crucial time of regulatory enforcements, DDPS 2025 created dialogue on aligning with global privacy standards. DSCI’s Centres of Excellence, as extended arms, the CCITR, the National CoE, and the Telangana CCoE continued to promote industry growth through startup incubation and supporting security entrepreneurship along with capacity building of LEAs.

This edition of the Annual Report comprehensively covers these areas and updates on various programs and initiatives carried out throughout the year.
