OT Security Hackathon 2025

The OT Security Hackathon is a specialized cybersecurity competition focused on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Designed to simulate real-world industrial scenarios, this competition challenges participants to identify, analyze, and attack the critical infrastructure. The event features two progressive phases, an online Jeopardy style qualifier followed by an on-site final round providing direct access to the Operational Technology testbed.

Ground Rules

  • Play Fair : Compete honestly. Activities such as flag haring, automated flag guessing, or obtaining outside assistance beyond normal research are strictly prohibited.
  • Monitoring for Integrity : Any unusual behaviour or irregular activity may be reviewed. Teams may be asked to demonstrate the steps to confirm legitimate progress.
  • Report Technical Issues : If you experience any bugs or platform-related problems, please raise them immediately through the built-in support/ticketing system so we can investigate.
  • Flag Guidelines : Every challenge clearly states its flag format. Follow it exactly.
  • Zero-Tolerance for Cheating : Any breach of rules (intentional or not), may result in immediate removal from the competition.
