TechNation 2023

TechNation serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together policymakers, researchers, startups, and technology enterprises to assess India's technology capabilities. It focuses on evaluating India's role in critical technology supply chains, while also adding a dimension of national security to technology development efforts. Conceptualised by the Data Security Council of India and supported by the National Security Council Secretariat, TechNation aims to foster the development of critical technologies through the TechSagar ecosystem.

TechSagar, a joint initiative of DSCI and the National Security Council Secretariat, acts as a knowledge hub, providing detailed insights into technology capabilities being developed by startups, tech enterprises, and researchers. It encourages greater engagement with the technology community, facilitating the identification of crucial technologies, promoting research-driven innovation, and fostering collaborations.

The primary objective of TechNation is to ensure a seamless synergy between technology advancement, national security requirements, and economic growth prospects. By promoting knowledge-sharing, driving research-driven innovation, and facilitating meaningful partnerships, TechNation contributes to India's dynamic and vibrant technology landscape.
