India today operates one of the largest and most complex digital financial ecosystems in the world , spanning banks, insurers, NBFCs, payment systems, capital markets, fintech platforms, and digital public infrastructure.

As this ecosystem scales, cyber risk has evolved from an IT issue to a systemic financial stability concern. Attacks on payment rails, identity systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and third-party fintechs can have cascading, sector-wide consequences.

Recognising this shift, there is a strong need to bring the entire BFSI ecosystem together — regulators, financial institutions, technology providers, startups, academia, and security practitioners — to co-create practical, future-ready cyber solutions.

This hackathon is designed as a national collaborative platform, not a competition alone — where trust, resilience, and innovation converge.
