January 28 is celebrated as Data Privacy Day (DPD) across the world.

The much awaited DSCI wallpaper is here. The response to the 2016’s wallpaper was staggering. The wallpaper became part of over 8, 00,000 office desktops in around 120 organizations.
This year we have endeavored to produce a more visually appealing wallpaper which succinctly captures the basic tenets of data privacy. It also enumerates some of the data protection tips for employees who play an exceedingly important role in an organization’s data protection ecosystem. This DPD presents itself as an opportunity to further the long-standing goal of robust use and transfer of data in a fashion that is responsible and protected. The wallpaper serves as a means of disseminating the message of DPD to the business fraternity of the country and raising the Privacy quotient of the stakeholders, thereby fostering a culture of trust.
Test your knowledge of data privacy and related concepts on the occasion of Data Privacy Day 2017. DSCI takes immense pleasure in announcing its third-in-a-row online privacy quiz with new challenges and gifts.
The objective of this quiz is to spread the awareness of data privacy to one who cares about his/her privacy in this digital world. The questions framed in this quiz are related to privacy rights, users’ rights while surfing over internet, importance of online data and personal information and many more.
The idea of this quiz was instituted on the side-lines of DSCI’s and industry’s Data Privacy Day celebration on 28th January, and the whole success of it depends on you, your colleagues and connects’ interest and participation. Please make the activity successful with your enthusiastic participation and help us popularise it in the community.
