DSCI in collaboration with the FIDO Alliance is organizing an informational workshop on FIDO’s approach for simpler, stronger authentication. You are invited to attend and learn about how FIDO is changing the nature of authentication by introducing an open, scalable and interoperable set of mechanisms to reduce the reliance on passwords while also protecting user privacy. These are important technologies that are enabling better authentication practices in finance – both within and outside the enterprise.

At the seminar, you will hear experts describe FIDO’s approach to simpler, stronger authentication – and also details on some real-world FIDO deployments and use cases from leading banks, merchants, service providers, mobile operators and government bodies around the world.

FIDO Alliance is an industry consortium that offers a simple, low-cost way to improve user security and the online experience.

FIDO Alliance is built on three strategic initiatives:

  • Develop technical specifications defining an open, scalable, interoperable set of mechanisms that reduce the reliance on passwords to authenticate users.
  • Programs to help ensure successful worldwide adoption of the specifications.
  • Submit mature technical specifications to recognized standards development organization(s) for formal standardization.
