Hackathon 2019

Data Security Council of India & EY hosted the Cyber Security Hackathon on the side-lines of Annual Information Security Summit 2019. The hackathon is 3rd in a series of Capture the Flag Competition that DSCI has been hosting with the objective of recognizing & rewarding the best brains & talent in Cyber Security in the Country. The Hackathon witnessed extensive participation from more than 140 + teams from all across India. The 1st phase of the competition was held online via prelims round and accordingly, 40 teams were shortlisted to participate in final rounds which were held on 3rd December at AISS 2019, Leela Gurugram. The competition was full-day live competition and participants from academia, industry, cybersecurity companies, and cybersecurity enthusiasts and followers participated in solving key various challenges related to web application, network, forensics, crypto, reverse engineering, etc.

The hackathon winning teams were felicitated at DSCI Excellence Awards Ceremony at Annual Information Security Summit 2019

There were 3 categories of awards for top 3 winning teams: Winners, 1st Runners Up and 2nd Runners up. The winning teams won 1,00,000 INR, 50,000 INR & 25,000 INR prize money.
