Segmathon 2016

Data Security Council of India (DSCI), in association with KPMG and NASSCOM Gaming Forum, organized a one week Virtual Hackathon, SEGAMATHON 2016 that brought together the concept of ‘Security + Gaming + Hackathon’ – thereby giving an opportunity to game developers across India to showcase their creative prowess and build games to educate people on how to create a Security-aware culture.

With the Cyber Security theme including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber-espionage and Identity theft, the initiative witnessed an encouraging response with more than 14 teams and 50+ participants. The theme-based BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) Game Jam has proven to be a fantastic way of developing new talent by tapping into youth potential towards the agenda of Cyber Security for future.
