The Annual Report for the financial year 2025–26 captures the key initiatives, achievements and impact of DSCI's work. Throughout the year, DSCI launched a range of programmes and initiatives with a primary focus on strengthening cybersecurity readiness, advancing privacy governance, and contributing to critical and emerging technologies, from AI and quantum computing to operational technology and next-generation communications, among our members, partners, and the broader industry ecosystem.

This year, DSCI deepened its engagement with India's technology frontiers, chairing the Sub-Group on Post-Quantum Cryptography Migration under India's National Quantum Mission, releasing India's Strategic Roadmap for Quantum-Safe Migration, publishing a five-volume Compendium on Emerging Tech Pathways, and launching programmes in AI governance and quantum security.

This year also marked a significant step in India's data governance journey with the notification of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules in November 2025. DSCI responded swiftly with a comprehensive knowledge suite on the DPDP Rules, relaunched the Privacy Leadership Forum as PLF 2.0, and conducted roundtables and reading sessions across industries to support organisations in translating regulatory requirements into practice.

DSCI published significant research this year, including the Indian Cybersecurity Product Landscape Report 3.0, the State of AI Adoption for Cyber Security in India, and the State of IT/OT Security in India. DSCI also made its most significant investment in operational technology security, establishing two OT Cyber Security Labs in partnership with Siemens and Rockwell. DSCI's Advanced Threat Intelligence Portal continued to provide member organisations with real-time intelligence feeds, monthly threat reports, and special advisories on emerging cyber risks.

DSCI's global engagement reached new heights in 2025-26, with bilateral cyber conclaves across the US, Singapore, UAE, Bahrain, Australia, and Europe, positioning India as a shaping force in global cybersecurity conversations. Our flagship summits, AISS, FINSEC, BPM, DDPS, Cyber GCC Summit, and AI Governance Symposium collectively brought together thousands of delegates, policymakers, and practitioners across India's cybersecurity and privacy ecosystem.

Our Centres of Excellence continued to drive meaningful impact, with NCoE and CCoE continued to drive meaningful impact through startup incubation, industry and academic collaborations and CCITR training thousands of professionals across law enforcement, judiciary, and financial services. Our CSR programmes, Cyber Vaahini, Cyber for YOUth, and Cyber Sainik, extended cybersecurity awareness and skilling to communities across the country, with a special emphasis on empowering women, youth, and citizens at large. This year also marked a significant development with the inauguration of the DSCI Advanced Cyber Skill Centre in Mumbai, expanding DSCI's commitment to making cybersecurity education accessible to underserved communities across India.
